...I'm just curious what the game designers intended for it to translate as? Google Tran slate comes up with a really weird translation, and using a dictionary I think I got something more accurate.

I know this has been discussed in these threads before and as i recall some sort of cocensus-ish result was that either "Peace is magnificent but war is glorious" or "Magnificent peace, glorious war".

Yeah I came up with Glorious War Magnificent Peace. Which makes sense since you're fighting a war to achieve peace.

The former being a more natural-sounding translation for English ears, the latter being a more literally accurate translation, if I recall the discussion correctly.
