Ok if the heroes in my campaign have just finished the silver heroic dungeon. Part of its special end bonus is to be able to take a special abaility that is still available.

Does this mean that they can take abailities that have become unavaible due to overlord destroying cities? Or can the only choose from traits that are from cities that are not destroyed?

I am torn on this question.

On one hand the special dungeons are only available to heroes that are behind in points, so it can be viewed as there reward to help them catch up, on the other hand, shoudl the heroes be "punished" for not protecting those cities from destuction. After all as the OL, I focused on destroying the cities whoes traits annoyed me most!

They are able to choose any of the Skills that are still in the deck, even the ones from the cities that are raized. This is the ONLY way that they may do so... so it's helpful if the towns have been crushed.

Of course, that's only one skill per player, so you still have the satisfaction of denying them all the others.
