Rules question: What is a "round"?

By BotanyGuy, in Talisman

Some cards refer to a "round" as opposed to a "turn". For example, the Hex spell stays for "3 complete rounds"? I couldn't decide whether a round consists of all players turns, or if a round lasts for one player's turn? Any help?

Also, speaking of Hex, it says you lose a life if you "land on" that space. Does that mean you have to end your turn on the space or will you lose a life if you are just passing through (and you character "lands on" the space on their way to another space)?

A Turn is a players' turn, when a player moves his Character and resolve subsequent effects. A Round consists of all players' turns. It would really be unlikely to land on the Hex Spell if it lasted only 3 Turns.

These one has a direct answer in the Rules (page 9):

The space where a character lands is the space where he ends his movement or the space to which he is moved to as the result of an encounter
or effect.

Thanks so much for the answers. That was what I had suspected, but I just wasn't sure.
