Arkham Horror Big Box

By Keggy, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

One of my friends mentioned the other day that he would like to pick up AH, but would really like it there was some sort of copmilation game: the big WoW/Descent size box, all the expansions thrown in, errata fixed on everything; basically a one-stop AH experience.

After hearing him describe it, I realized I would probably pick it up too, even though I already own most of it. Anyone else agree?

No. The price would be steep. Easier to get the expansions one at a time as you get the money. Of course I finally picked up the last expansion I needed to complete the series (Kingsport). The only thing I would like is a rule book with all the rules.

I have no interest in a big box either. I would rather have a small box that brings them all together (you know, like KiY encoutners for Dunwich and Kingsport). A comprehenisve rules book wouldn't be bad either.

I agree. Something designed to integrate and make the most of all the expansions has the potential for really enhancing the game. Probably a tougher job than coming up with a standard expansion though. You would need a lot of consultation with the community and the best Arkham minds involved in it if it were to be done properly.

Second that!
