Basically I've come up with the skeleton outline of an adventure I can use to bridge between Rejoice For You Are True and The Black Sepulchre and I'd like criticism, advice, suggestions etc.
Basically SIPRIT DANEEN has been apprehended by the Inquisition and the psyker (Biomacer) character Leviticus, who wants to be an inquisitor one day and is the only one in the group who’d be capable of becoming one, is invited to take part in the interrogation... after all someone has to keep SIPRIT alive! SIPRIT will break after 2 weeks of bloody gruesome torture, the character will get a few insanity points as he witnesses what’s done to SIPRIT though I’ll offer him the Jaded talent for 100xp, & admits his allegiance. Now broken the information will flow and Leviticus will be dismissed as he’s still new to Varaaks retinue and Varaak doesn’t want him being corrupted.
2 weeks later the cell will be summoned by Varaak who informs them that they are to investigate PALLIDUS CHAN who, according to SIPRIT, is a procurer and distributor of exotic contraband. PALLIDUS is the seneschal of ISADOR LUX a powerful and influential rogue trader with links throughout the Sector and within many Imperial bodies hence the investigation rather than straight out apprehension.
The cell is to ascertain the veracity of SIPRITS claim & capture PALLIDUS for interrogation if the claims are true. PALLIDUS operates out of the LUX TRADING EMPORIUM adjacent to the secondary hangar bays and close to MANUFACTORUM IX, aka “The plain of smoke and fire”. The LTE is a fortified compound covering several city blocks and is full of warehouses and storage equipment with a large central tower. The LTE is mainly used for storage and dispatch with most deals and agreements being made in trading halls or up in the noble sections, where they have a plush office adjacent to The Light Gardens, for more... esoteric deals (this gives the PCs the opportunity to ask the STROPHES, from RFYAT, for advice and minimal aid).
When eventually captured PALLIDUS will break over time and eventually reveals a nobles name, a noble who has just procured an item of power that came from the Haemetite Cathedral on BARASPINE.
I expect the above to take 4-5 sessions where the group will have to decide how they’re going to apprehend PALLIDUS without leaving a trail behind them, this cannot be traced back to the Inquisition and it should test their skills (as well as teaching the ‘gun-bunnies’ how limited they actually are). So far I have most of the maps drawn up but I've not written anything this open ended before so any advice would be appreciated good sirs.
