Opponent stat cards

By eBarbarossa, in Rogue Trader Gamemasters

Hey guys,

Does any one of you know where I can find stat cards for the player's opponents? You know, not full-blown character sheets but just the combat relevant stuff on a small and handy card. Any help would be appreciated!

I use sheets I made with Microsoft Excel but I've never found anything like this, although it's a great idea.

My NPC stat blocks are basically the same layout as in the books, but I also add Initiative to the mix. I also add a short description of what each talent or trait does, as well as page listings. It takes some time, but the more you do of them the more you can re-use.

For ships, I have a two-sided spreadsheet that I set up. The front has the "fluff" for the ship, and the back has the stats and weapons, as well as any special notes or abilities. I use these for fleet combats (especially with allied ships that the party is controlling), so that the party can see what they are controlling at a glance. If they make good rolls on auspex scans I give them the enemy cards as well.

*Shrugs* I recently bought some Avery business card stock for this and I am slowly working on putting some of the default NPCs on them, along with getting getting business card sheets for a three ring binder. I went with this as it is already formatted in Word.

Here is an example of what I am putting on a card.

Slaver capture specialists
WS 42, BS 35, S 35, T 40, AG 35, INT 35, PER 38 WP 35 FE 28
Movement 3/6/9/18 Wounds 13
Skills of Note. Awareness, Intimidate +10, Concealment
Talents of Note. Jaded.
Armor: Arm 2, Body 3, Legs, 3
Weapons.
Shock staff
Mezoa grenade launcher W Stun, howler and web grenades.
Autopistol
+3 total Melee dmg

I created some for "into the maw". They present the non-combat stats on one side and the combat stats on the other.

The combat side includes relevant actions with calculated difficulties and effects. E.g full auto for à character with à Bolter, psychic powers for à psyker, called shot if they have the relevant talents, etc.

It allows for quicker playing and use of uncommon actions à bit better. (imho)

I made mine with the LaTex Package flashcards.

Cheers,

TechVoid.
