Could Warhammer be played with One GM and One Player? Could the player play a couple of different characters? We often play 2 characters each when playing board games, AH, Wrath of Ashadalon, Conquest of Planet Earth etc but have never played any roleplaying games. My wife and I have been thinking of playing some of these types of games but are new to it and not sure if it would be a good time with just the two of us.

When I was starting to play role games I used to hold some sessions of Rune Quest with only two, me (the GM) and a player.

Some games were fun, never as fun though as with more players. Certainly you will have to adapt /design escenarios for this kind of unusual set up. And for sure it is better if the player interptrets only one character and the GM takes only care of game mastering.

Ya, I figured I would be the GM and she could play at least two characters so it would be like 3 people playing. I thought that at least if she was playing 2 the fighting etc would be more exciting. I just didn't know if the rules and or the game would be fun playing that way. It seems like this game is more newbie friendly than jumping into some of the other roleplaying games.

Since I have not played these types of games is it an ongoing campaign like game or a bunch of shorter games. I just watched the videos and like the looks of the components. Is any other thing needed like a map etc.
