Billy n' Victor: Deck Discussion

By forteconcarne, in UFS Deck Building

So when I first saw Billy*** I didn't know what his ability was about. It seemed pretty useless. However, when I went back and looked at Victor*** I realized what the guy did.

When I went to build Victor*** I was at a loss for awhile. I mean yeah, reanimated is a good place to start, but really, his ability seemed rather unwieldly to me. I eventually arrived at the conclusion that what Victor*** needs is split cards. That way he can extend the size of his hand by the amount of split assets or foundation that happen to be on the field at any given time. With the correct foundational acceleration, a player could loop split cards from the hand to the staging area and back again, all the while forcing the opponent to lose foundations while at the same time dealing with the attacks that are thrown at them.

So then we come to Billy***

You see Billy likes split cards too. As long as he has one in his staging area, he can increase his handsize at the start of the turn by using his first form. This means if he has three, he has an effective nine handsize, three of which have been selected by the player himself. Combine this with his discard recursion ability and he can have ten cards in hand at the start of almost any turn. Handy to say the least.

British Subject is definintely a crucial card to either character, facilitating loops at the cost of health (make sure to pack in some kind of healing aid). Using Clean Freak to ready British Subject so you can loop other splits is one of the more obvious (if costly) uses of these character's unique talents.

Opinions?

Good idea, possibly a use for Kid sister :D
