Hi, this is my first post, i hope my english it's no too bad :-)
I had an argument about resolving that plot that says:
a. When revealed each player MAY put in play a in house Char....
b. Each player MUST choose 1 char he controls and return it to its owner hand.
I 've always seen playing the card in the order indicated in the text, putting a card in play and then returning another in hand, with the conseguence that if no other char were in play when putting the one in play the same char had to be returned to hand.
But this is the doubt...
The plot has two effects, each one is indipent from the other (no word "then").
In what order the two effects should be resolved?
The "a" phrase says "when revealed".
The "b" phrase says nothing.
So it seems that the part "b" is a effect that kicks in as soon as the player turns the plot, while the part "a" kicks in later, as a passive.
But in that ways the card should work the opposite ways I saw it been played.
Another way of interpreting it could be that the "when revealed" refers also to the phrase "b", so the first player decides in what order resolve them and so the plot could be used the ways it's usually played.
What did i miss?
