LCG Card Legality

By Meeks23, in 1. AGoT General Discussion

Hi guys,

Old time CCG player here. Just wanted to ask the community where is it stated that direct reprints of CCG cards to LCG are tourney legal. We're about to start running tournaments in my area and all of my meta, except myself, started in the LCG era. One of the players insists that all my CCG cards are illegal in LCG tourney play.

Can anyone direct me to a link or ruling?

Thanks.

Some LCG cards are reprints of CCG era

cards. Can CCG versions of these cards be
used at LCG events?
CCG cards that have identicals stats, icons,
and game text as the LCG version can be
used at an LCG event. If the stats, icons, or
game text have been updated for the LCG, the
original CCG card cannot be used.
That is on page 23 of the FAQ which can be found here.

There are also some cards where the text changes are extremely minimal. The CCG Marched to the Wall says "When revealed, each player chooses and discards one of his or her characters from play. (Cannot be saved.)" The LCG reprint replaces "one" with "1." If you have any cards like that, I'd check with the tournament organizer, see what they'd rule.

Thanks Staton!

I didn't know there was that minor a difference alpha0599 in Marched To The Wall.

Thanks.
