Sorry if this has come up before (I couldn't find it with a search). I was wondering if the rules supported more than 4 players, if you had the expansions for Greyjoy and Martell.

I have played 6 player games, the rules of the game certainly give room for it.

However it is worth noting that the rules for running a Tournament allow only a maximum of 5 players per game.

Since players do NOT have to be playing different houses (tournaments would be impossible if they did), the game rules actually allow for as many players as you want. Nothing changes in terms of turn order, challenges, etc.

Of course, there are only 6 titles so that's something of a limit. And, believe me, it gets really boring between turns when there are more than 6 players. So most people tend to feel 6 is the maximum, although people certainly have played with 7 or more.

Even though you could put together a game with more than 4 players, its a mess. It becomes a total crap-shoot of a brawl, it becomes quite possible that no one can win and isn't really much fun for anyone, imo.
