Just as the title says curious about what options do Lannister have for attachment control ?
What options do Lannister have for attachment control ?
Just the neutral ones, really. There's an event that came out this cycle, but it really isn't very good.
I'd probably run Tin Link with maesters, or Ill-Tidings x2 with a mix of good maesters and learned, like Ghost of HH or the new Tyrion.
There is also the Bought and Paid for event.
House Lannister only .
Dominance: Pay X gold to choose and discard 1 attachment from play. X is the printed gold cost of that attachment.
The event works, but it is pretty annoying that you must wait until Dominance to use it. Most of the time you want to eliminate an attachment as soon as possible, but here you must deal with it through an entire Challenges phase and risk losing the event to INT claim.
Waiting till Dominance is a drag, but thank goodness that non-Clansman Lanni builds are usually pretty capable in the Intrigue department.
Let my porridge fly is more reliable for Lannister than most. Especially with misinformation.
Bastard.
There is a reason the card was included in the Lannister box. it was pratically made for the House.
Bastard is a great choice, but the other comments about Let My Porridge Fly is pretty accurate as well. I don't think that Bought and Paid for is too bad, but really the very best option is probably Maesters with Tin Link.

Great call with their multiple INT challenges available to them. Could wipe out numerous bad attachments in a single challenge phase.

As well as your pyromancer's caches.
I wouldn't use that plot. The stats are really bad, and you only get the chance to use it that one round, and it can backfire.
I agree that bastard is actually pretty good. It's never a dead card either.
The only downside to Let My Porridge Fly (After you win an challenge, choose and discard 1 attachment from play.) is that it is non-optional. If you're running any positive attachments and they have a limited number, you may have to restrict your successful INT challenges (including defense) to avoid discarding something of your own. But that is still pretty minor.
