I have bought the Core set for WFRP recently.

I think it´s a great game so far what I have read. We haven´t been able to play yet, but that isn´t so far away.

I have a question to FFG about the item cards.

Why is there so few item cards with the Core set?

I didn´t find much more items in the expansions either. Where can I find more item cards?

For mundane items you do not need cards, but there is someone around the forums, sturm, I think, that has dones some nice cards with mundane items on them.

And if you are asking for magic items, warhammer (2nd and 3rd editions) pretends to be a quite low fantasy rpg, at least as compared to D&D. Magic items are a very rare thing. Typically pc's find one, two or none in a whole published campaign.

Go to Strange Eons and make your own items.

i have most of the expansions by now and must say i got a ton of location and item cards by now. i just recently, while running "the witch song", found that the location cards actually really come in handy some times.

as for the item cards, we never really use them. the ironbreaker has got his gromnil armor and well, thats about it. if my group finds any actifacts or some other item, they just write it down...

the further the players get in their careers the more cards they have to manage anyways!

That´s make sens with local items, and if I write my own campain (as I will) I can just make some items by myself not to fancy though...

I will agree 100% with Greyzen. Download the Strange Eons program and the WH RPG add-on and and make your own items. It is really easy to do! Some people really like to down play the magic in the old world to keep it dark and grim. My group has been playing almost a year now and just having a couple of trinkets just did not seem good enough anymore so I made my own!
