The werewolf chart is very cool.

I like the rulescorazon.gif

It seems that it is almost similar to the reaper, with a few new idea's

A player can still move the werewolf towards a other character. But he land immediately on it if it is night.

This makes him a bit more dangerous than the reaper.

But both the Reaper and the Werewolf move after a player rolls a 1 for their character, right.

I suppose there would be less forgotten moves for either, since you have to move both. Not sure if I like this mechanism.

Oberon

It is good. You have two chances of killing the Character - once when moving the Reaper, and the second one when moving the Werewolf gui%C3%B1o.gif

Oberon: I think I agree. Seems kinda "same ol', same ol'" ... Why would I get my life back if I roll a 6? Doesn't even make sense. Is the werewolf going to lick my wounds or something? They should have made the chart different from the Reaper. I like the idea of the night/day rounds, though. That has potential. Maybe I'll just forgo the Werewolf NPC and have the rule apply to the Reaper instead. Or leave the Reaper out and just play with the Werewolf. It just seems like you'd be doubling up the same mechanic and chart otherwise.

I agree - can't say I'm too thrilled about the Werewolf dynamic. It seems too much like the Reaper (even the same "roll 1 to activate") and doesn't make as much sense thematically. And I'm thinking the whole lycanthropy "infection" aspect will simply add more complexity without improving the game.

However, I'm very much looking forward to the new day/night element.

While I may not include the lycanthropy component or werewolf as an NPC, it's possible I might use the werewolf as a new character, with special abilities adapted from the game (receives +2 in combat at night, can stop movement on character to attack).

Have to see the full rules before making decision.

Reaper, Werewolf, and Dragons.
Adventurer, just die!

Um, Toad King, Ice Queen & Black Knight too! Well Black Knight when I finish him lol

It would be very easy to adopt the mechanic I used when making the Ice Queen NPC. Triggering the NPC by card expansion icon is a pretty cool way to do it. It's tied to the expansion, plus depending on how many expansions you are playing can mean more interaction with them.

It was used to great effect recently in a Polish convention, where quite a few people ended up a bit chilly!

That's right.

But the chart is different, and also the mechanic that the werewolf is more dangerous in the night gui%C3%B1o.gif

Indeed.

More killing is more fun. demonio.gif

It seems that the werewolf has also a good side lengua.gif

But i agree, that it is a bit weird that the werewolf is healing the character's life or fate.

He also destroys a adventure card for you.

It seems like that his anger is gone gran_risa.gif

What they should have done is make the 6+ result only happen on a 7 instead. That way the Werewolf only helps you if you are a lycanthrope, too.

That's not a bad idea.

But it seems that they wanted similar idea's as the reaper for number 5 and 6 serio.gif

Mummy is great gran_risa.gif

@ Nemomon

The Mummy is awesome indeed.

The order i like them..lengua.gif

1: Mummy King

2: Swamp Creature

3: Flesh Golem

4: The Bride

The art work is really great. I'm rather partial to vampires so I hope they do them right. I suppose we'll get used to the roll "1" mechanism. Of course they could have gave a "werewolf" die to activate it, everyone has to roll at the end of their turn or something.

Just get one from Koplow...
