Hi, please can you help clarification about this card.

What exactly happens when the card is played and it states immune to opponents triggered effects. Is the card played after a challenge has been declared to counteract the opponent and if so what exactly are 'opponents triggered effects'

The location is knelt to choose one of your participating Dragon characters. That means a challenge must be going on and one of your Dragons must be either an attacker or defender. Otherwise, you have no legal target to choose.

Triggered effects are defined in the FAQ. They are any effect that a player chooses to use - effectively anything with a bold timing word in front of it, no matter what kind of card it is on. Passive and game effects (like claim) still work, though.
