Oddest campaign yet.

By Gamibash, in Deathwatch

My players and I have been playing for around half a year now in a mish-mash of missions. Normally it'd be get from point A to B and break stuff or hide and see in a space hulk as we get used to the rules. One day the elected squad leader turns tio me and says 'We are going to ressurect the emperor. We are breaking with the Imperium' Of course that broke my mind. A Grey Knight, Dark Angel, Blood Angel, and an Ultra-Smurf are going to track down the emperor's children (Biological ones not marines) and sacrifice them infront of him to bring him back.

When I heard that I started kicking myself and broke out my DH and RT books to suppliment my DW rules. The first mission had a guest appearance of Huron Blackheart for when he hosts his brawl for an army. My team made it through rather well and continued to dominate their way through everything in thier way. Of course having made an infamy table they went and attacked a forge-world (Using KBF rules). All went well then the inquisition showed up wityh epic amounts of fire power that nearly wiped thier little fleet out (Grey Knight died and rolled up an angry marine. Hilarity ensued).

So far they've tracked one of them down and had to fight a daemon primarch which was a b***ch and a half to do. How does one fight something that is **** incarnate? Well they dropped a titan on him (World Eaters primarch). I guess I got a little out of hand with the power of 'Go for it'. Last time we gamed they were rooting around in a necron tomb looking for tech and such (and they are not the secret pony buddies of the blood angels either. LEGIT necrons.)

I'm looking for pointers, comments, or advice on what to do next. I have most of the important suppliments for Dark Heresy, Deathwatch, and Rogue Trader so feel free to throw ideas from any of them.

Wait, the Emperor's children? As in the Sensei Knights? You are awesome.

And there is a section in the old Realm of Chaos: Lost and the Damned book on them. Its a few pages and gives background info and tables for creation and what not. Unfortunately that book can be almost impossible to find (at least compared to the other RoC book Slave to Darkness) and I had to pay through the nose for it. So I doubt it is widely available.

If a mod could confirm I wouldn't be banned and or sued into oblivion I would be happy to scan those relevant pages for you (not sure how OOP books that are that old and IP law works). But if they can't at best I can offer is to see if I can grab and type up some of the more interesting tidbits for you on Sunday so you have some interesting Sensei to work with at least.

Just let me know if you are interested and I'll add it to my list of stuff to do on Sunday bro.

That would be amazing and yeah I'd appreciate any material you have on them because as it stands all I am working with is some fan lore and stuff from Lexicanum for the most part. Only thing that was driving me nuts was just thinking up how to play these god-like beings. The few things that've scrapped together make for a grim mission indeed when they go after the another one. Any other lore that you can find on them would rock and any ideas on what they should be capable of doing as well would rock.
