Don't like it. Doesn't attach to your House card as an agenda the way the charagendas do. Condition trait seals the deal in my mind, just not worth it.
Royal Seal
Yeah, I don't think it's worth giving up an agenda for. Attachment, condition, have to draw into it or search... even if you weren't planning on using an agenda anyway it seems dodgy.
The card has a lot of raw power. I am pretty sure you need to be able to interact with it for it not to be completely bonkers.
Run it with an agenda to shut down draw.
I see huge potential in a Winter Agenda deck with this attachment.
Nevermind, just realized the " extends to the second paragraph.
Doh!
Well here is one before this card becomes restricted: This attachment + TLS.
Martell can circumvent the draw penalty by using effects that put cards in their hand. Also more Darkstar shenanigans.
Bara can practice stronger draw hate and ignore the penalty by using The Laughing Storm.
I find it interesting the article doesn't mention using the most powerful attachment removal in the game to get rid of it, the Tin Link. Which makes me wonder if the link will be restricted or banned in the near future.
I like it. It's a thoughtful way to deal with certain house's draw dominance. It might be cute to blank the box as you draw, and let your opponent deal with the drawback.
I agree that in most cases I'd rather run an agenda, but I'd rather run this then the maester agenda and like 2 links, like you end up doing with some decks.
My first thought is, its the kind of card you sort of build around. you can neglect draw somewhat, if you can rely on this. Then i figured... well Playing 3 kinda sucks because you would be playing a low draw deck where dead cards hurt the most. and playing only 1 well, thats hardly reliable especially without a way to dig it up.
But then i realized "hey, this card needs discard fodder" having one in play basically gives you a reason to get rid of the extra copies.
I could consider 3 of these, over jamming maesters into an otherwise agenda-less deck.

If blanked it falls off the House card; attachments can only be played on characters unless the card states otherwise. I suppose you could do this in Targ and recurse it over and over with LDC, but I'm not really sure how you'd be able to blank it repeatedly.
The big problem with this card is currently there is only one way to search for a neutral attachments in the game the red warlock. So to run this you are going to have to run three copies to make sure you get one, which is an issue. Unless you are running targ summer.
This card might improve when the new character agendas come out, thinking about Targ one, Griff attaches to your house if you don’t have an agenda and then come back in to play as a character. You can play him and the seal and get use out of them both. As long as Griff is not attached to your house. Plus if your seal gets discarded you can use him to bring it back. Think there is a deck somewhere in this.
I like it. As a 0 cost attachment - this goes in any deck not designed with an Agenda in mind. Since its vulnerable - you can't rely on it as your engine, but it could serve as a nice supplement.
