Actually Talisman is one of the few times I didn't 'think like a gamer' - twice. I had a Complete 2nd edition set (yes including all the miniatures) that I sold when I bought the 3rd edition. My only excuse is my second child had arrived, times were tough...
I had pre-ordered the BI version of 4th Edition but cancelled it when the news about the problems came thick and fast early on. It's the only time I've been grateful for the shipping delay to Australia.
Thanks to FFG, I am now enjoying 4th Edition as it should have been released in the first place.

Buying a revised edition and a upgrade pack
Well, i have buy the revised edition twice 
But the reason was that my board has some damage and the box was inside a bag that was falling out of my hands.
