What are all the psyker disciplines and what book are they in? I know of the three in the core book but it indicates that there is more than just divination, telepathy, and telekenisis.
Psyker Disciplines
You have Theosophamy in Into the Storm, and Chaos Powers and Sorcery in Edge of the Abyss.
What about the ones you can find in Dark Heresy? One of my players wants to use biomancy from the DH core rulebook.

Dark Heresy psychic rules are completely different from Rogue Trader ones. You will have to re-write all the powers to make them work.
Yeah, RT is definitely written from the perspective of the only kind of psyker you are going to want to play is the Astropath Transcendent, and they have a rather limited focus of power type, in order to illustrate they develop powers to be useful to the organization they serve, and only such powers, so that their psyker-fearing superiors don't begin to question the safety their network is in, and it would be a bit unfluffy to play a fire-tossing Astropath. Astropaths are supposed to not want to fight, since dead Astropaths don't get text messages, for themselves or as part of the network web, and so their powers don't help there. While they can use a gun as easily as anyone else, their Combat Skills grow terribly, and Strength and Toughness are little better, helping make them a more non-combat role.
If you wanted to play a Psyker in RT, rather than an Astropath, you'd have to modify the existing class, or use another, and pay out the ass to get the mutation, and purchase the powers, and you'd still have to re-write them from DH, which could be time-intensive, if you don't find other people's write-ups around here. It's sort of a running argument around here as to the place of a more combat-oriented, or even just less Astropathy Psyker in this game, since it isn't a "regular" class they give you, or an Alternate Career package for anyone. I think a "take at Lvl 1" Alt Career path (sortr of like Navis Scion or Transub. Initiate) would be good for the Astropath, or make it open to any class, to get around some of this crap, but you still only have those powers, without some heavy rewriting, or finding what other people have done.
