Moritat variant

By Volkazz, in Dark Heresy House Rules

to punish my players' ignorance of classic fiction:

Followers of St Alia of the Knife

Background:

As Moritat but:

1) only applies to daggers and similar

2) monosword is replaced with wormtooth dagger - equivalent to a Bowie Knife (2d5 damage, 2 pen, gains Tearing from background)

3) Protective bodyglove is replaced with environmental bodyglove and good quality desert clothing

4) open to shrineworld, feral and imperial

Replacing the rank six Reaper level with:

Fedayakin

Mostly as reaper; add some miinor psi - prescience, for example; not sure what to lose yet.

Able to get a Crysknife (equivalent to lathe blade bowie knife)

Thoughts?

Sweet. If they are 40k fans they need to know just how heavily influenced it is by Dune. Even if you have to teach them the hard way. Don't forget to take 'Survival' and 'Resistance: Heat'.

Check this out for a ready made HomeWorld:

Sweet again.

force daggers usable by moritat whic grants tearing and full force effect?
sounds a bit OP to me.

some limits should be implemented, I think.
