Under the Rest & Recovery rules (page 88 in the Player's Guide) it says that one character can provide assistance to another character's Resilience chec by attempting a First Aid check. This generates fortune dice to the recovery check.
In the next paragraph it continues to say that if a character is skilled in Medicine they can provide similar assistance, but then it adds expertise dice to the check.
The first question I have for you all is, can you use both to aid a character? Can the same character provide both?
Next set of questions:
You can specialize First Aid towards Long-Term Care (accodring to the sample specializations under the skill) but in the Healing & Recouperation rules there's no roll required to provide this care. Should a First Aid (or Medicine) be rolled for Long-Term Care?
Can you provide Long-Term Care with First Aid only? In the Long-Term Care rules it states that you should be "overseen by a skilled caregiver" and later in the same paragraph "such as being tended by a priestess of Shallya in a Skallyan ward".
Last question, can you provide Long-Term Care and provide assistance to the Resilience check? I.e provide Long-Term Care to lower the difficulty of the Resiliance check by 1 and then roll Medicine and/or First Aid to add Expertise and/or Fortune Dice to the same check?
