Dark Heresy Scenario Contest - Winner Announced!

By Guest, in News

Let it be known that Eternal Tide has been ordained the winner of the 2008 Dark Heresy Scenario Contest. Andrea Gausman turned in a superb adventure. We were impressed with Andrea’s investigative storyline and her attention to detail with plenty of GM reminders and NPC dialogue throughout the submission. Plus, the map of the city she turned in along with the adventure is quite nice indeed! Pages-from-Eternal-Tide.jpg

As the winner of the 2008 Scenario Contest, I’ll be sending Andrea a signed advance copy of Creatures Anathema . Here’s a picture of me proudly displaying a proof copy of the final book. This book turned out to be fantastic, and I am indescribably thrilled with the first completely developed in-house Dark Heresy book for FFG.The writers and artists for Creatures Anathema contributed to the success of this excellent supplement for the Dark Heresy line.

Thanks again to all the fans who entered the scenario contest and those who have been eagerly following along. I hope that all of the finalist adventures inspire more people to create their own adventures in the Calixis Sector!

I would like to add that the WFRP Scenario Contest received a lot more fully laid-out and professionally presented entries than the Dark Heresy side this year...but I am confident that the Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay community will see that as a challenge and see if they can do even better in the next competition!

Congratulations once again to our wonderful finalists: I dyll Heresies by Daniel R. Robichaud II, Scrivener’s Star by John W. S. Marvin, and Eternal Tide by Andrea Gausman.

Be sure to stop by the Support section of the Dark Heresy site to download these scenarios if you haven't already. Next, stop by the Scenario contest thread over at the Dark Heresy forums and share your thoughts on this year's entries with other fans.
