Nice job, i like the treatment of mantle.

Really nice paintjob with much details. He always reminds me of psycho mantis from metal gear solid. The mantle is ok, but you can softening the different layers if you wash it, or you can use a mix of armypinter dip thinned with turpentine as i do at all the clothings. (after that you have to use a matt varnish)

I usually don't soften layers of highlights. I purposefully paint in an exaggerated style because I paint the model for how it look from across the 4' table.

By mantle do you mean jacket? I'm an American, so something got lost in translation there.
