Introduce yourselves...........I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve. :P

I'm new to the forum (and to the game) but figured I should post in here.

I'm David, 25, living in Calgary, Alberta. I have a BA in Sociology, and I'm currently studying Anthropology/Psychology in the hopes of becoming overeducated and unemployable. As far as hobbies go, I love playing Starcraft 2, and I'm a Barcraft organizer (what this is, essentially, is going to a bar and watching professional Starcraft matches much like you would watch a sporting event). It's incredibly amazing and a great way to meet the local Starcraft community. I also play bass and guitar in a band. We stick mostly to original music, but the last couple of years we have been learning geeky cover songs and playing at conventions and comic expos! Last year we got to open up for William Shatner at the Calgary Comic Expo, which was amazing. We got invited back to play this year, which should be a blast. We'll be playing all day basically, in between panels and such, so we'll cater our sets to the upcoming speakers.

Shameless plug for our music video:

That song is one of our silly songs that sounds nothing like the rest of our music, and the video is us just running around in chainmail.

This seems as a good a place as any to start posting!

I'm Peter, 26, I live in Edinburgh, Scotland, and am currently finishing off a PhD in Classics. In the rare time I get when I'm not endlessly editing the cursed thing I board game and read books that are as far from Classics as I can get (so fantasy makes a delightful change). Have always loved the Tolkein universe, and so decided to dabble in this when it came out. I've now realised this is not a game that one dabbles in. Also, thanks to the gaming group I'm part of, I mostly play this solo. I'm a big fan of the euro style board games, as well as the BSG and GOT board games, and also play a little music. To be honest there isn't much else to tell. Classics and board gaming owns me :) Just feel like I should stop creeping around this forum and actually participate...
