Looked at MSRP and all units are $19.99, $26.99 for KV, and 39.99 for heli and chinos
SSU Prices
Bit of a shame they went up but atleast its only a couple bucks. I'm really interested in the SSU though but I doubt they'll ever rival my Axis/Allied ones in size haha.
Probably going to grab the following SSU units upon their release:
2x Rifle Squads, Combat Squad, Command Squad, Hero Pack, Zverograd (naturally), 3x KV47 walkers and MAYBE the airborn transport.
In the end here's hoping for some sort of SSU Army Starter, I think enough of us have posted about wanting one. On a side note, I'm also really looking forward to seeing the SSU heavy walker and their Artillery piece.
The price increase stinks, but they are still priced pretty reasonably compared to the competition's current offerings. I'm really excited to see the Sino Soviets arty too. Heres to hoping that its a ridiculously big tube artillery gun!
With the SSU coming soon...do you think a 3 player game will be possible?
Large rural/village 5x5+ map, 3 players coming in from opposite zones...
**** that sounds fun!
While the idea sounds cool, I just don't see how it can really work. Once two of the players clashed, the 3rd one would only need to stay away a couple of rounds and then move in on the weakened opponents. They would need to get the objectives right in order for it to work.

I had an idea for a 3-player mission
- 1 player is not visible to the other 2 at the start. That player have a hidden map where he register his units movement. That player objective would be to go stole plans of an Axis secret weapon located on the 3rd floor of a building in the city.
Each round, when one or more squads shoots at an enemy, you roll 3 dice and on 2 success the squad is no longer hidden. If one or more squad is at 3 spaces or less (1 tile) it is automatically unstealthed.
100AP available
- The Axis player must defend those plans.
300AP available
- The 3rd player wage an open war against the Axis and want those plans too.

I don't think a 3 way battle is really doable in a "nuke em till they glow" scenario, but if each of the 3 factions had different(but somewhat overlapping) objectives it would keep them from picking on someone or playing the waiting game too much. We've also had some decent success with "king of the hill" type scenarios with 3 players, with the winner being the last one on the objective.
3 way is only fair in a scenario other than a meat grinder. Or make the meat grinder attrition based and low number of turns. Like only 4 turns and only score points for actual models killed.
Mad for the price hike, it makes me worry that the axis an ally prices will increase too at the time of the SSU release.

Well there was an increase in troop prices for the Red Devils and Heavy Recon Grenadiers over the other Armor 3 infantry on most online sites.
Speaking of the Recon Grenadiers, I'm really bummed that they have no Anti-tank ability at all granted yes they are "recon" units I guess. Guess I'll have to wait for HoardObits to open a few more Revised cores to get a 3rd Heavy Laser squad. Heavy Flak Grenadiers should atleast do 1/1 to Tank Armor 4.... Oh well.
I don't see it as a price increase, but rather that the original core units are priced low to give players a cheaper buy-in to the game. The original units have still not increased in price.
At some point, they may increase the prices on the original units, or they may keep them as the cheap way to start an army.
Even with the higher prices on the new units, the models are still a good deal, though I would like to see a cheaper starter set for the SSU to match what you can get for the Axis and Allies.
