Hey! since I painted my walkers I kept looking at what you guys did to yours, especially the weathering and rust effects.

Now I want to give a try at weathering but already applied 2 thin layers of Army Painter matte (anti shine) varnish.

Can I simply paint over the varnish and reapply a thin layer over the new paint?

You should be fine,but if you are worried do a test first. spray some varnish on something then paint over it and see if their are any ill results.

Youll be fine just don't go to heavy or you will cover up the details with too many paint layers.

Just don't apply washes over the varnish.

Ok thanks all for your tips! I just want to add somme weathering/rust on some walkers and maybe some dirty effects on some squads like I did with my Zombies.

I think I won't even add a 3r thin layer of varnish and just do some thin weathering.
