Welcoming…
The Long Dark
And muemakan takes The Long Dark for a walk in the park.
Happy June 1st Everyone!
Time for an update.
Welcoming lleimmoen to the Living Tournament scene!!
He's made quite a splash!
Bit of an update…
And another update…
On another note, I'm super curious how today's new Glorfindel announcement will impact new deck possibilities for the Living Tournaments.
Exciting times!
Welcome souhei719!
And thank you for your kind words. You picked a tough one to jump in on and get a result, so good for you!
Small update as I attempt to scratch my way back toward a place in the Top Ten.
Some itches are very nice to scratch…
I apologize if this was already answered somewhere but I couldn't find out for sure. I noticed while browsing scores that it came to me I might be recording my scores incorrectly. When you fill out how many rounds you've completed to win, do you include the round you're currently on? For example if you complete a game on your 5th round, do you fill it in as 4 or 5 rounds? For my games, I've been filling it in assuming it as the 5th round as per the example. If it's the other way, I need to go correct all my games generally giving myself 10 fewer points for every game (to my benefit!).

p5 of the FAQ - "Players tally each round for their score at the end of the refresh phase." So you have been scoring 10 points too high.
Ahh, thanks for the reply jjeagle. I will be going to edit all my scores, is it possible for you to update them juicebox? (of course on your own time
) The quests I have scores needing updating are JDtA and THfG.
Lots of updates to the table…
Will post links to the newly released Foundations of Stone soon… likely later this week.
Further updates… and as you may have noticed, I have yet to post the Foundations of Stone threads.
Haven't forgotten, just haven't gotten to it quite yet. Will be coming soon.
Oh, and WELCOME to vandertramps! We've now got 30 players in the World Rankings!
Hello Everybody!
It's high time for an update… so here we go.
And a HUGE welcome to Zavarov, Seba, and theNat!!!
Fun to see some more 2 Player action happening amidst all the Solo Player drama.
Foundations of Stone is now LIVE!
Updating the table… watch out everyone… jjeagle has found a 3rd!
Time for an update…
And a huge welcome to masonos!
Updates abound.
And in light of the revised FFG LOTR LCG FAQ/errata that was released on July 31, 2012…
any posted results to the LOTR Living Tournaments after that date should reflect and be played according to the updated rules.
That seems like the simplest way forward. Feel free to discuss if you have other ideas for how to honor past, present, and future.
UpDATE!!!
Shadow and Flame will be posted soon…
Has there been any progress made on a new hosting site for the tournaments? Hope so.
If it goes ahead, I'd like to see a mandatory 'sets used' component to tournament submissions. I'd like to be able to easily filter for players using the same card pool as me, as I feel it gives a better representation of how well I did. For example, comparing scores from a player using 3 core sets to a player using 1 core set doesn't really tell me much about how well I'm doing. Similarly, if I end up buying and extra set or two, I'd like to be able to compare myself to that pool of players.

Hi sleevan. There has been some progress. It's still in the initial phases, but steps are being taken.
And your idea is a good one. Thanks!
Also… just updated the leaderboard.

Great the hear. Even easier would be a way to add the sets (including quantity of cores) you own to your profile and then when you post a tourney result, you can simply modify the list as needed for the entry.
Lots to update!!!
Welcome to rborkowitz, Doogan, and Fanfan!!!
Update…
Nice to see so much multi-player action these days.
