This is a friendly league run by some fun people at a great local business. I will be updating this thread as more details become available. We hope to see you all on March 11th!

UPDATE: I can not seem to figure out how to edit the original post, but I wanted to let everyone know how our first week went and that our league rules have changed.

We had a good turnout of 5 players on the first week, with two others committed that just could not make it this particular week. We've decided to make this a bi-weekly league, this coming Sunday 3/25 being an on week and the following Sunday 4/1 being an off week & so on & so forth. Also, to keep games moving and let people have as much fun as possible each week, we will be focusing more on joust matches (1v1) with only occaisional Melee (4-player) and Kingsmoot(5-6player) games.

Aside from the tournament standard deck-building rules, we have also done away with the chapter-pack style league play. It seems that we can get more people interested in the game if the league is a free-play style where your deck can be whatever you like. Some players are not going to want to spend all the money on every chapter pack, and that is totally fine! So to recap...

  • 60-card minimum
  • Follow the tournament standard banned/restricted cards list
  • Mostly joust games

We're keeping it very simple for now. I hope to see some more of you this Sunday at Myriad Games!!!

well count me out if you pick those weekends. i was hoping to go up and play April 1st, but only if there will be players. i work every other weekend.
