Louisville Kentucky players

By Kaine82, in 3. AGoT Organized Play

We already have a large group of Warhammer Invasion players, but have recently had an influx of interest in other LCGs. Several of us already have core sets and several Chapter Packs.

If you are interested check out the Card Board Gamers game group site:

Louisville A Game of Thrones

Hey Steve. I was thinking of posting something here too.

The Game of Thrones LCG is the game I most want to play right now. Several people in the Warhammer Invasion/Cardboardgamers group have the core set and a bunch of expansions and chapter packs. It just hasn't gotten to the table yet. I know I'm very eager to try to play it soon.

In looking through the forums, I found a few posts of other Louisville players from a year or two ago, but nothing recently. So if anyone's from Louisville and wants to play, let me know or check out the meetup site. I'd love to try out all the houses, and be able to pick a favorite and get at least one deluxe house expansion.

I also posted this in the Metagame forum.

We definitely need to have the LCG night Logan keeps talking about. I haven't played AGoT since GenCon last year, but I really liked it and would love to see it hit the table on a regular basis.

I agree. I think most of the LCGs will get played soon, one way or another. There seems to be a lot of interest in them recently.

I hope to hear from some other Game of Thrones players on here. I'm sure there's people in Louisville who play.

Logan had mentioned a group at Comic Book World that plays during the week(Thursday night I think). The big guy at BluegrassMagic with the beard plays too.

I bet there are a lot more people in the area that play we just need to rally them into one place gran_risa.gif

Huh, I didn't know that about Comic Book World.

And yeah, Louisville definitely needs a bigger online boardgame presence. It was frustrating trying to find any Louisville groups online. Our meetup site was pretty much the only thing online I found last year when I was looking for a game group.

If Comic Book World is still running AGoT events they don't have it listed on their website:

Friday nights are generally bad for me but I will try to make it out there.

A few of my friends and I play AGOT religiously and we are definitely looking for more players who want to build a local meta. Anyone interested in playing on days other than Friday is welcome to message me.

If you can't make it on Friday our group meets on other nights as well. You should come to one of our Board Game Madness!!! events. At least 3 of us have at least the core set if not more and more than that have played.

Our next Board Game Madness!!! is on Saturday, May 19. You and your friends should definitely check it out! Here is a link to the event on our meetup site:
