The stages of tyranid takeover of a planet is virtually identical to the stages NO1 laid out in his massive 70 some page treatment on them on his site. I used it in my game, so it was nice they didnt change it much. Its pretty good info, although if you have his booklet, it has everything you need to run a great tyranid campaign with stats for brood nests and capillary towers and all sorts of awesome goodies. Thank you sir, Ive had alot of fun with it.

Would you have a link to the website?

Link is in my signature, below.

Alas, I've not yet had the opportunity to update it fully for Deathwatch, or to add in the newer creatures in the Tyranid Codex, so it is somewhat outdated.

I don't know if it was a conscious effort on the part of John Dunn to cover a lot of the same ground I'd covered in The Great Devourer, but given that we were both drawing from the same background material, it was somewhat inevitable that any two writers familiar with that background would come to a lot of the same conclusions.

Indeed, the tyranid invasion timeline info has been loose on Lexicanum for quite some time....i was glad the AA version matched up!

And thanx, gentlemen, for the kind insight into jericho reach.....oh, and yeah, I too was just wonderin' only last night: what do those little firewasps look like? I picture a rather clunky flying armoured breadbox with a flamer stickin' out of it...of course, each forgeworld will likely have its own design....

And, yes tyranid, ork, and eldar goodness are to be found in No1's signature - a fine (and...grrr...necessary) resource! And Darck Childe: check out Lexicanum (if you've not already); it's free on the web and chock full of useful info.

Thanks for the link and the tips.
