Tomorrow's War

By Guest, in Deathwatch

Tomorrow's War is a set of sci-fi wargames rules from Ambush Alley Games. They are pretty good. But mostly I wanted people to see these piccies by the mysterious Monsieur Fab:-

Are those not the coolest sci-fi troopers you have seen recently? I love the way he has drawn on current research in to exoskeletons.

There is a bit of a problem at the moment that sci-fi soldiers tend to not look as cool as the real troops fighting in Afganistan. But these close the gap!

I do like the art. I think it is a good 20-50 years in the future look.

The general trope with sci-fi soldiers is that the tech is sufficiently advanced that the bulk and amount of gear a soldier would carry is minimal. This leads toward a more streamlined design approach in most cases.

very nice opponents, or increased mobility for my imperial guard! thanx again for the pix, Aluminum (sic) Wolf!

Very nice pictures. :) I would imagine that in the 40k it could be either Imperial Guard from a technological pretty advanced world or perhaps even Skitarii? The Adeptus Mechanicus would after all have access to the best tech to equip their troops with.
