What it is I'm looking for more info on background in warhammer world. I am a warhammer v2 player it's the system me and my group like playing. But is there any books that are as good as sigmar's heir with the background info?

I think it's safe to say that as far as fluff is concerned 2nd (still) has clearly the upper hand. The Book of Grudges (included in Blackfire Pass) might be worth looking into if you're interested in Dwarf lore.

Its very condensed for 3e. Sigmars heirs is still the book of choice for Empire.

I have most of the books for warhammer v1 and v2 but was hoping for more back ground book if v3 has them
