Hey, a friend and I were looking forward to coming out for some tournaments (we weren't able to make your last two events due to the NFL playoffs...). I was disappointed to see that you're restricting the field of cards quite severely. Is this going to be an ongoing thing? None of my decks are legal, and I don't have much interest in creating a new deck with such a limited card pool to choose from.

Also, is there any chance of having weekly events in the future, rather than bi-weekly? Or more frequent tournament play?

The reason the cards pool is so limited this time is to allowing a large group of new players to try out tournament play without having to get all the cards. The tournaments will include all legal cards in the future.

As for having it every week if their was enough people who wanted it i am sure something could be worked out.

I will be applying to run a reigonal event this year and i will continue to host some come and learn the game events.

If you have time to make a deck you should come out to this event to meet the other players and get a shot at some sweet prizes (Stark play mat, store gift cards...special house card). We have at least two people from the Gatineau meta coming this time and i think once we expand the card pool we will be seeing even more joining us for the tournaments.
