Just a quick question, during the challenge phase, say I am acting first and Jaime has 3 power on him. I first initiate a military challenge with Ser Gregor Clegane who's text reads " While Gregor is attacking characters can not be saved" I then kneel Jaime to kneel a non-participating three strength character with a Bodyguard or duplicate on him.

The question is, will this kill the character and not allow him to save it with the attachment or duplicate since Gregor is attacking ?

Now, if Jaime had 4 power on him, that character would be discarded from play and cannot be saved from that effect.

Okay right, sorry I mean Jaime would need 4 power, but the timing would work with gregor attacking, you can trigger Jaimes ability to kill a character and prevent it from being saved is all I was curious about.

Is there any reason you would think this wouldn't work?

"While Gregor is attacking," - this part is clearly true

"characters cannot be saved." - not much to parse here. Characters cannot be saved.

Seems pretty straightforward.
