Novgorod does exist!

By blark, in Tannhauser

I have a copy in my possession! Well, it's in the back of my car, and I haven't had a chance to open it yet, but still, it actually exists. I'm amazed.

LIAR!

If you had a copy you would be playing it right now! even if you had something more important to do!

I have my copy as well and tried it out a little. It came with some bonus tokens, and has some scenarios which I have not tried, so can't say anything about them really yet. Seven miniatures, three heroes, and 4 little robots that...well are tough, so don't go thinking they are all cute.

Got mine today as well, minis are great.

And the other side of the map is quite a bit brighter than the previous print.

i should be getting it in a couple of weeks it looks great and ive already looked over the rules a couple of times.

i cant wait gran_risa.gif

Picked up my copy on Thursday. I haven't had a chance to play yet, but it looks interesting.

I got mine on thirsday and love it...I had no problems punching the pieces and love the minis as well. If they were smart they would print a "map pack" to aid in the game while they "translate" the next product from France....but who am I to suggest stuff.

Ellraiser

I think I'll wait for Ramirez and Volkov to come out so I can pick them all up at once (unless they strangely seem to be waiting till summer...)

very disappointed that they couldn't give us another locale with the Novgorord board. I have the exact board (the building) with the base game. would it killed you to give us another different board, sheesh!

The general quality of the game does look excellent again - although the heresy of my gaming group is that only my brother and I actually play the game - the others have rejected it! I hope people can suggest suitable punishments for these individuals I once called friends!

I was a little disappointed that a good 18 tokens were not terribly well glued together, and have become separated right in the middle - I anticipate a little wood glue should sort the problem out though later tonight.

On the surface, I think that the minis are great, and the extra fluff that comes with the game to reinforce the nature of the Tannhauser universe is always a welcome thing to read. I agree with the points about the board - a new board would have been much more desirable than a simple reprint. The one major flaw with the game I feel is the slow release of new supplements - this is the kind of game that I feel needs a steady flow of new characters, boards and materials - with the addition of 'legendary' class characters as well, I am wondering when more of the same will come out for the other nations as well? Are there any plans to have more British forces in the Allied lines? When will there be MORE BOARDS?
But, still looking forward to trialling this with the bruv - the game certainly has enough going for it!
