I have been working on a completaly new expansion for Talisman rev. 4th edition.

It is called The Unhollow. The expansion will come with 3 new deck of cards:

- The Hollow deck.
- The Unhollow deck.
- Artifacts.

It is almost done. Here is a sample:

Looks pretty cool so far and I like the dual deck idea.

Just a niggly point, but you are using the wrong "R" in the Windlass font. If you do not have the "fixed" copy that is used in Strange Eons, the R you require (with the short tail) is the Registered Trademark glyph.

If you fancy, once finished, I can stick it on Talisman Island.

o.O you are right! The R did look weird but I did not get into details with it.

I will see other Windlass fonts for the corrected version.

The dual deck idea works as follow; there will be a Hollow/Unhollow token places on the Thornroot space. When the game starts, characters must draw from the Hollow deck (unless noted otherwise on the space). The token switches to Unhollow when the ''Unhollow'' event is drawn from the Hollow deck or when a characters rolls a 1 or 2 on the Wishing Stone.

The Hollow deck is mostly easier to deal with and will have more Strength based enemies than the Unhollow deck.

This expansion looks very cool.

I like the artwork that you have choose for your cards.

Curiousity, how do you make Home Brew Expansions? I have been looking to make my own for a while and cannot find anything for Talisman... I downloaded a Strange Eons Plugin but its not for Talisman... Please help me.

I really like your Expanison as well. I think you should try to submit so Talisman will use it, a few tweaks and it will be perfect. Who knows, you may get something for it I heard they recently started working on more Talisman Expansions, could be wrong tho.

@Avalon: I started out doing it entirely on www.pixlr.com. I took the starting kits (layers and stuff) from www.talismanisland.com and I started only with that. Then, recentely, I started using Photoshop which is a great leap into creating what I am doing right now (The Unhollow). The hardest part is finding the artwork since what people see really increases how they appreciate it, following the actual content. Start off by checking those templates for the adventure cards and such and the rest will follow.

Thank you Shymova77. I am only interested in the board concept, you can make cards through Strange Eons fairly easy lol just look at my character cards, those didn't take much at all lol. But I am going to look into PS templates for Talisman and see what I come up with. I am fairly familiar with PS and I am going back to school for Web Design April 16th and I get the newest of PS, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc.

Who knows, I may take a shot at making a website like this just souly surround around Talisman? Most likely won't happen but who knows...
