Completely valid right? Reversal goes back to my hand, opponents combat phase resumes.

yup that's it. It does not end his combat phase.
seems i got myself a tech for void tourney
I have a question stemming from this topic. If an attack with Multiple is used, multiplied out and deals damage, can you react with Valuable Experience, return the original to your hand and still resolve the multiple copy? Or does the multiple copy never resolve?
if during YOUR turn, multiples dont resolve.
On opponents turn, they would
Ayup. Smazzy's got this one.
Same deal with Maternal Instincts. That's why it's great tech against Feline Spikes played as Reversals.
*STAMP* for all of the above

Can you explain how this works? It sounds like you are saying that when your opponent plays Feline Spike against you as a reversal on your turn, you would use Valuable Experience on the original so as to end your Combat Phase before the multiple copies do damage. But Valuable Experience says, "After your attack deals damage...". Since the Feline Spike is not your attack in this case, how can you use the E on Valuable Experience? (Or, more generally, if you can use E's that specify 'your attack' during your opponent's attack, how do you figure out what they do?)
"(Or, more generally, if you can use E's that specify 'your attack' during your opponent's attack, how do you figure out what they do?)"
They do nothing if you aren't enhancing "your attack".
I was referring to Maternal Instincts in the latter case - you can enhance with it on an opponent's Spike played as a Reversal in order to forcibly end your Combat Phase before the multiple copies resolve. I should been a little more clear ^^;

Maternal Instincts will only work if "your" attack deals damage. Enhancing your opponent's attack with it will do nothing. Note the errata on Maternal Instincts.
D'oh. Stupid...well, me, I guess
You could though block the first feline spike and then reversal(even if it is your turn)....use valueable experience to get your reversal back and then your turn would end...you wouldnt have 2 take 16 2 the face for the multipe copies...i think thats good tech lol

i know this is how you choose to 'type' - but do you realize how unclear you are being when you use numbers, to represent a word that has nothing to do with math, right next to a numerical value?
i ask you, please, to NOT use the number two in numerical form in ANY post that is in the Q&A, for clarity's sake.
thank you
can you really not read it i mean seriously........its just a fast and easy way 2 type and i seem 2 think its quite clear......but whatever the case may be i guess i should be used 2 the random complaining that goes on in this game and on these forums i guess
You're just being lazy when you type '2' instead of 'two' or 'to' or 'too'...you're throwing a number around like its a word, then using numerical values immediate afterward..it confuses people.

but seriously, you wrote a number, followed by a number, and then expect people to get on the first read that one of those is only a phonetic representation of what you're trying to say.
do one OR the other, not both.
how would you like it if tag and myself started answering questions on a game that is, primarily, mathematic equations, in slang ghetto pay-per-word-text-plan l337 4 t3h h311 0f 1t ?
do what you want to save typing ONE LETTER elsewhere - NOT in q&a
Frankly, it might be faster to type 2 then two on a cellphone keypad, but unless you're a "hunt and pecker" T & O are both easier to reach then the 2 is, meaning it's actually faster to type "TO" then 2 on keyboard, since both letters are only once removed from the home row, rather then twice removed.

In general when you have two numbers in a row, you will want to spell one out explicitly anyways. If I'm talking about playing Bo Rush after Taking the Bait I should probably say that I have "four 7 damage attacks" in my card pool, not "4 7 damage attacks".
well i have been on the forums since like the old sabertooth games days and the only time this ever came up was now......apparently some people can read it out there....i could be like most lazy typers and...
type lyk i dnt got ne sense at all 2 mess ppl up completely i cud 4get that most ppl dont type all dum lyk this......but no i dont its just one word and yeah maybe i am a lil lazy when it comes 2 typing but im on a schedule and i jump from one thing 2 another and i dont feel like changing the way i type for the time being trying 2 confuse myself entirely.....
but i seriously dont think this is the place 2 do this so id just assume we drop the whole convo and forget it happened
here's the thing: it DID come up on the old boards, you just ignored it and life moves on. big deal, no one cares.
no one is attacking you personally, no one hates you, so don't get defensive and make lame excuses.
i am making a point of this, here, in Q&A , because a mistaken number or word or letter can throw off the meaning of an answer to a query. or the query itself. it's very important that we are clear when answering questions, because it's bad enough that some people don't understand the rules without compounding the problem of an illegible post.
and it's for this reason i harass scuba about his posts, because lord knows what the hell he's trying to say when he rushes through to make a post.
but notice when it comes to larger announcement-type posts the legibility goes up.
for this reason ONLY, if you can't take the extra time to type ONE LETTER when it comes to Q&A, then please, i ask you to not post here anymore.
get it now?
no hate. just elaborate.

I agree. Ghetto gamer seriosly needs to clean up his typing and laziness.
Anyhow, back on topic, just to clarify about Valuable Experience, you can not use it on an opponent's card, correct?
Correct. The trigger is "after YOUR attack deals damage"
if it was an E: that said "your attack blah blah" then you could play it on an opponents attack, and it just wouldnt do anything.
Like Commitment to Excellence, E Commit: your attack with dmg 5 or less gets +3 dmg.
if played on an opponents attack, or your attack with 6+ dmg, then you can still "play" the E, but it doesnt give the dmg pump.
