Was it just the minis that was revised or did the rules got any changes?
I know they updated the costs of units but any actual gameplay changes?
What are those changes?

About the revised set rules
There are a few changes to the rules and some things are explained better / in more detail.
You can download the revised coreset rulebook from the FFG website and compare it to the original if you want.
The changes are really minor. No reason not to use the latest version of the rules.
