Can Taxed Dry be attached to Knights of the Hollow Hill?

Can Taxed Dry be attached to Knights of the Hollow Hill? This just hit me when read the Taxed Dry.

"Attach to an opponent's income providing card. If it is Winter, attached card does not provide an income bonus. If it is Summer, when you count income you may also count the income bonus on the attached card."

It specifically do not restrict what kind of card type it can be attached to. I then thought that as Agendas are not in play, Taxed dry cannot be attached. But this attachment says CARD. And Agendas are cards. There are several other cards which says attach to a House card (House cards cannot be affected too). And even Mance Rayder can treat a North agenda card as if its printed text box were blank - of course on Mance the Agenda word is there.

Then I read the FAQ again and wondered that is it try to cancel the Agenda effect? (Agenda effects cannot be cancelled.) But Taxed dry do not cancel anything. It says how the gold providing card should behave in case of Winter or Summer.

So can Taxed dry affect Knights of the Hollow Hill?

Yes. The agenda actually gives the bonuses to the opponent's house card, making it a income providing card and therefore a target for Taxed Dry. So you would attach it to the house card, not the agenda. And like you say, it's not cancelling it so it's perfectly legal.

First, re-read what KotHH says. The agenda doesn't get the gold bonus, the player's house card does. And house cards are in play. So, when a player runs KotHH, his house card becomes an income providing card; thus, Taxed Dry can be attached to it, and its effects can come into force.

Taxed Dry is also not a cancel; only effects that have the word "cancel" in them are cancels, easy as that. The FAQ passage you referred to says that the Response on Siege of Winterfell can't be cancelled by He Calls It Thinking and the like; it has no bearing on the situation at hand.

Please remember one thing when playing with or against KotHH: Because it is the House card of the KotHH player that gains the boni, it is also the house card that gets knelt when you use the influence from KotHH. Most players just kneel the Agenda, but that's wrong. This can be important, for example when the KotHH player plays against someone running the Alliance agenda.

Agenda's are not considered in play, so you put any attachments onto an agenda. ever. or at least not with any of the current cards. Though, I highly doubt ffg will print any cards that specifically say to attach to an agenda.

House cards on the other hand...
