Corruption card and Lost in Space and Time
Spend one more turn LiTaS. And discard half of clue tokens and items.
My guess.

Certainly Corruptions do work while in OWs; not so sure if they work when LiTaS. As far as I understand, when LiTaS you skip completely your turn: you do not roll for Retainers, Blessings, Curses and what else, so possibly you can avoid being hit by effects of Corruptions. As I said, I really don't know; it's a good question for the FAQ, I think
Tibs? Any thoughts on this?
Oof... um. Okay, I've been avoiding this one on purpose. But still, I honestly didn't see your call Julia. Forum and all, whatever.
Anyway, as I understand it, when you're LiTaS, you lose the rest of your turn and the next. And also, as I understand it, losing a turn means you skip all phases, including upkeep. You don't roll for Blessings or Retainers, etc. But also this would mean that corruptions don't activate. So there's your answer.
HOWEVER. What I've been playing is that when your turn is lost, you MUST do mandatory things, but MAY NOT do optional things. That is, you must roll for blessings, you may not change your sliders, you must deal with monsters, but (although it seems convoluted) you may not get encounters.
Clearly, the easiest solution is the official one, but ****, I like a more thematic experience. Why shouldn't your retainer expire when you've gone missing?
Corruptions activate not during the players-oriented phase, they activate during the Mythos phase which is one for all, and can't be skipped by any game effect in my practice.

Yeah, that's my vision too. The thing that made me think are Retainers. I've always seen a retainer as something external to the character giving him money on a regular basis (like flats or shares): this explains perfectly why you keep on colelcting money during your OW activities. But if you go LiTaS, there is no reason why your shares shouldn't produce money for a while, is it? And thematically speaking, I tend to play the way you play (this means all games but those in Leagues).
But I'm glad you confirmed my understanding of official rules (and sorry for calling you on an unpleasant topic)
MNT has a point: the Mythos phase is a communal phase. If the first player has lost a turn, that does not prevent him from drawing a Mythos card for the turn.
But I still don't know. I don't see the harm in activating it, and then saying that since the investigator is off of the planet, he is LiTaS all over again, meaning he couldn't return next Upkeep if he was supposed to.
I'm sorry, this is completely off-topic, but...well, I'll say it anyway.
To Tibs: I just noticed that you changed your signature slightly, solely because my eyes happened to light on the word "empowering" while I was glancing over it. I must confess that I don't get the Joe Diamond one. Would you mind explaining it?
I have no idea why it said that. I took it out.
Hmm...a subtle intervention by some fell spirit lurking in the forums? But what could it have meant to signify...?
"Joe Diamond has a black."
Discard two clue tokens.
Not so sure if this has sense, but there is a VISA credit card called Black Diamond...
Eye. Gun. Mark. Dog. Suit. Steak. Horse. Stain. Coffee. Heart. Soul. Sedan. Bra. Dress.

For corrupted player the LiTaS is a save spot
Thanks all for the answer, i think this solution is good.
