How much points does one get for a Bye? Is it 3 or 5 points?
Victory Points for a Bye
In the tourneys in which I have played, it was always 5 points. Makes sense, too. Players who have a Bye are already kind of screwed anyway because their SoS is shot. No need to screw them further.
