Again, sorry if this has been asked.
If Hank Samson does not need to take a Horror check, is he also immune to Nightmarish? The wording of the Nightmarish trait would imply that he is.

Hello everybody
I would like to know where are the answers to all this questions: i see pages and pages of questions and just a few answer sometimes...
Is there a thread for it or are only questions without any answer? It would not be bad if we could make a big list of all the questions with every related answer.
Bye
Ok, came up against something odd today while playing Arkham base + CoTDP.
Amanda Sharp and Ashcan Pete are playing against Nyarlathotep, and he is about two doom tokens from awakening. We've only been able to manage getting two gates sealed, but pete is sitting on like 6 or 7 clue tokens anticipating the inevitable final battle. Amanda has quite a high lore skill and drew +1 Lore skill card and the Revelation of Script spell that gives +3 to non spell lore checks for a turn for zero sanity cost. I am just waiting for Narly to wake up so I figure what the hell lets hang her out at the Silver Twilight lodge for a few turns because I think its awesome and wanted to explore some of the encounters more. After a turn or two she gets a membership and the next encounter is a CoTDP encounter card that reads as follows: (I tried to look up a picture on Arkham Horror Wiki but couldnt find one)
"A gorgeous youth invites you into a meditation chamer. If you go in, you must lose a total of 4 spells or Stamina, divided up as you choose, but you may search the Exhibit Item deck for the Triune Mask card and take it. If you do not go in, the young witch casts a hex upon you, and you are Barred from French Hill."
So I am looking through the Exhibit Items deck trying to figure out which way I want to go in that encounter but I can't find the Triune Mask. I get a little pissed and figure either one of two things has happened, I failed to pick up one card from CoTDP and its still in the box, or FFG made a misprint and I never got the card in the set. So I check the box, then go on AH Wiki to see if the card even exsists, and sure enough there is no "Triune Mask" in the Exhibit items deck in the first place.
So I am wondering how you guys who play a lot of CoTDP have dealt with this situation (I AM LOOKING AT YOU TIBS). I am thinking maybe the card should read mask of three fates, but if you think about it any one of the masks seems to have "triune" abilities since it grants you 3 investigator's special powers.
I am going to rule for now that I get to pick which mask I want and get back to the game, but I am curious how others would rule on this?
Your question is answered in the official FAQ. It is the Mask of the Three Fates.
The second to last line of Lily's Pass card, passed when the Ancient One awakens, reads, "If Azathoth is the Ancient One, only remove one Doom token, but Azathoth does not awaken."
That's perfectly understandable if Azathoth awoke due to the Doom track hitting fourteen, but what if he awoke due to the Terror level hitting ten and there being double the number of monsters out, or there being too many gates open, or the Deep One Rising track filling? What do you do then, since the condition which awoke him in the first place remains unchanged despite the Doom track losing a token? Does Azathoth immediately awaken again next turn? Or what?

Well, if something other than the doom track has awoken Azathoth, then it immediately would awaken him again and the investigators lose. Max open gates or monsters means max open gates or monsters; so does a filled Deep One track. Running out of gates/monsters/servants of Glaaki also counts.
However, if the AO is awoken via the effect of the "Unpleasant Surprise!" mythos card, I would say that he does not awaken immediately again. It is, after all, a one-time effect. In this case, Azathoth would still lose a doom token and not be awake.
