Does anyone know what this Dungeon Expansion is about ? Just saw that it might be available 28.2.09, but there was no picture or description, and nothing on FFG's site either. See http://www.boostep.fi/product_info.php?products_id=77063.

This doesn't seem real...there isn't even a picture of said expansion. But perhaps they know something we don't?

That has been so far a reliable net store, so I'm quite confused. Either they've slipped information they shouldn't, as there is nothing about this expansion anywhere, or it is a mistake. It says that the expansion is coming to stock approximately 28.2.2009. It is of course also possible that the expansion is coming, but not in that schedule. We'll see.

Part of me is hoping that it is right, even though it seems too soon after Reaper to be releasing another expansion. How crazy would that be, new Talisman expansions every 2 months?!!

The Dungeon expansion for 2nd edition was horrible. There was only one reason to ever go into the Dungeon: the 1:6 chance of being teleported to the crown of command. As a result, experienced players would only visit it at the endgame, when all the encounters were a complete walkover.

I actually like the old Dungeon. It gave people who were falling behind in the game a chance to win and encouraged the ones doing well to make an effort to try and win.

I once won in 15 mins by drawing the doorway card early in the game.

The net store's customer service did confirm that their distributor has announced such a product to be available at that time, but the date is an approximation.
