Actually some of us had instinctively felt the same thing at the very begining of Neighbor Trololo ... and reading some thread on BGG (and now this one) I am now positive that he is the one who shall not be named. Though the guy is funny viewed from some angle. He is just trolling around to test if people respond when insulted. Once you have that in mind, just ignore the dark comments that erupts from him once in a while. He is just playing with the forum people and it works ^^. I guess in the end, he is just a moody fan of Arkham.

Wha...?

Courtesy post to remove the "New post" glow off the main page. You don't need to read this. These aren't the posts you're looking for. You can go about your business. Move along.

ACK I hate that. I have not figured out what causes it. Probably something to do with posting when someone else has posted, which may involve editing your own post soon after.

It works the other way too. I've missed entire discussions where I was called upon, by name, simply because the thread icon remained dark.

Strangely enough, the one who was calling me was He Who Shall Not Be Named.

I'm rude and obnoxious. I'm also a game designer now happy.gif

Chris, I've asked for your help as well! Here ! I guess you didn't notice it as well :-)

I'm no longer game designer sad.gif

Sob.

i am trying to remember it but not sure: is there a rule that avoids using the same spell in two different hands? like ifi you have two shivering spells and cast each one in each hand. After all i understand you can have two same guns in your hands, bout tematically i dont see using the same spell in twho hands...

THANKS!!!

you may absolutely use the same Spell in each hand (provided each Spell is a one-handed Spell ). A Dexter Drake, who passed his Personal Story with a pair of Shrivelling Spells ...awesome!

Until he needs to make a Luck check to avoid tripping on a loose rope and face-planting. Then he fails every time. Try holding your hands to your face when you have Shrivelling equipped.

That would just make the faceplant worse !

(The Mask of Wisdom provides excellent facial protection, however)

I have a new question:

we been playing elusive monsters the same way that normal monsters in regard that when they are in the same space of investigator, their movement stops, but with Tulzcha as herald, got confused. What´s the point of the cultists become elusive and entering sealed locations if you can stop them on the adjacent street just by standing there?

are we treating the elusive monster the wrong way and they can slip past the investigators?

Thanks!!!

If memory serves, the thing that makes "Elusive" monsters so difficult, is that Investigators may not engage them in combat, unless they roll a successful Evade check (which is counter to the way in which one handles normal, or non-Elusive monsters).

Yeah Satanito, listen to the Professor's wise words.

Basically, you have to consider Elusive monsters as "monsters having better things to do than losing time with investigators". They move according to their movement pattern and ignore all investigators on their path. Hence, a Tzulscha cultis cannot be freezed by an investigator in a street area to prevent him entering an ES location. Investigators who wants to interact with Elusive monsters must pass an Evade check. In case they fail, they cannot deal with the monster

Julia, you know I love you, my friend, but "wise words" adds about 15 years to my age partido_risa.gif

::laughter::

::more seriously:: you know I'm not able at all to figure out what your age could be? From the way you talk, you seems like a gentleman from a past century, of undefined age (even if I had to guess, I'd go with 45, more or less)

That's funny you should mention "gentleman from a past century" ~ so, I'm in a class at the Pentagon a few weeks ago and the instructor who is a former Rutgers University English professor also served time as an FBI profiler. Long story shot, she asks me to describe my perfect home...blah, blah, blah and one of the things she said to me was," you seem to be very comfortable with thigs from the past, as if you belong in the late 19th century. While you're amenable to new things you find comfort and stability in the older things around you." Interesting... aplauso.gif

::laughter:: do you think this image suits you properly?

(sorry, Satanito, we're hijacking greatly your thread)

Thanks for the information, now we know that we have to re-play two or three games.... :(

Julia,

I'm closer to that description than you can possibly know...by the way, I'm 45 this year. Wait a minute, did you look at my profile...? gui%C3%B1o.gif

Out of theme but does anyone knows where can i find the original artwork for the mask of Nyarlothotep "The Beast"? Been searching for it for some time but to no avail.

::facepalm:: I didn't think about that ::laughter::

Nope, I just made some calculations based on what I know of you from your e-mails ::laughter::

Hm...I've heard it mentioned a number of times that Elusive monsters still move if they're sharing a space with an investigator, but it's not in the rules. Was it ever officially clarified?
