so looking at equipment, it says +25 is the highest quality a piece of equipment can have, but technique pushing would put this at +30. how would you guys handle this? this is for an NPC, not a character, if that makes any difference.

Hmm, this is a tough one. The rules state a weapon cannot go above 25, so I would say you can only make +25 weapons even with Technique Pushing. But this would be up to you, the GM.

I've decided to handle it like this, because the technique isn't able to reach the amount that Technique Pushing allows, but instead reach only half of what it allows, I will simply increase the cost of activating the technique by 50% instead of doubling it.
