how about the second sons in the 6th cp of next cycle? can i response twice after i draw 2? it say "a card" but "one or more cards"

6th pack of the next cycle? You may want to lay some text down since not everyone bothers to read the spoilers.

the card is in the news on ffg site last 2weeks

It actually was listed on Jan 12, over two weeks ago. I decided to go and look for it since I was intrigued by your lack of providing text when asked.

*The Second Sons: Targ/Lanni Character. 7 cost. 7 STR. M/I. War crest. Army. Mercenary. Traitor.

Stealth.

No attachments. Lower the cost to play The Second Sons by 1 for each unique [T] or [L] character you control.

Response: After a player draws a card through a card effect during the challenges phase, choose a character. That character gets -1 STR until the end of the phase.

That wasn't so hard, was it?

And yes, you can respond twice - the triggering event is "drawing a card during the challenges phase", so if you draw more than 1 card, you can trigger the Response more than once.

sorry for that lengua.gif

much like valar which kills several characters simultaneously yet allows each a separate save opp., a single card effect that allows you to draw more than one card will provide a response opp for each card drawn.

I think the key here is that the rules spell out that cards are drawn one at a time, no matter how many cards you are drawing. Each independent card draw allows you to trigger the Response.

Although, watch out for the wording. "After you draw a card..." ends up one way, but a Response that said "after an effect allows you to draw a card..." would end up another - because then you would be Responding to the effect, not to the card being drawn.

In short, watch out for the "Starfall variation" with draw. (Where you only get one Response trigger, no matter how many House Dayne characters are in the challenge, because you are responding to winning the challenge, not to the character participating on the winning side.) It's rare, but it can happen.
