Question about order

By ilgoga, in Talisman

If I land on a space with, let's say the witch, a gold, a sword and a charcter, what are my option and in what order do they happen. (If I choose to interact with the character can I pick up the sword and the gold also? Or do I have to choose between cards and character?)

If you choose to fight the character, you cannot encounter the the space.

If you choose to encounter the space, then with the lowest number goes first.

If the numbers are the same, then they are dealt in the order they are drawn.

-----

If they are not drawn, then you must encounter the cards with the lowest numbers first( if both are the same, then it still count in the order they are drawn. If they are only objects or followers and they are not cards under number 5, You can choose freely what you want)

I'm not so sure about your rule three. I believe the rule book says (and I don't have time to check) that wen order numbers are the same, they are dealt with alphabetically.

But if there are (on this space) for example 3 objects and 3 followers, can I take all of them?

Of course. You can take any Object/Gold/Follower that's left on a Space, if there are no other Cards to face first (Enemies, Enemy Spirits, Strangers). Objects and Followers have number 5 on the Card; Gold coins are like Bags of Gold (=no. 5 as well).

Thanks for the quick answers!

This is the old 4th editon rule. Now it's like Velhart says.

I believe Alphabetical order is better if cards stay on the board for many turns. Who cares to remember in which order they were drawn, after hours of play?
