yea i been noticed this too when i played 4 player and wondered if that was right as well. But half way into that game i noticed lannister and greyjoy can't fight each other the whole game, neither will win. So my only guess is that it is there to tempt lannister to go south to balance the early game (but even then it takes at least 2 turns to get there and you risk spreading yourself thin)
My four-player experience thus far has definitely not favored Lannister. The configuration of sea areas around Pyke and Lannisport means that, if either house wants to use the seas, the other house is land-locked and staring down the barrel of a supported attack on their "home" sea area. Greyjoy starts with the Valyrian Steel Blade and has a suite of powerful seafaring House Cards to win that battle. This seems to happen even in a Lannister-Greyjoy alliance: "What, you're gonna take the seas from House Greyjoy? Oh, how cute. How about you go inland and fight Baratheon instead? You can trust me!"
In short (and please correct me if I'm wrong), Lannister is at the complete mercy of Greyjoy.
what happens when they play 4 player and the South is freedom? entering is reasonable to neutral garisson; may do that a player is in the game?
what's the matter??
