Realy well painted! It's also a cool miniature, might pick up this pack myself.

I really like your latest additions!
As you were faster on ebay, I had to wait until I got my copy of Cerberus happy.gif

-Cheers,

Ghrik

Ha Ha, did you really bid at the same auction? -> 330677134910

@Loophole Master & Psykostevo

Yup there is an uncanny likeness, maybe he is a double agent. gui%C3%B1o.gif

Yes, it was the only one available at that time & I saw your post about it at GW-Fanworld.

(And no, I'm not a stalker happy.gif )

Did you have to rework the girl? My one had a big mould mismatch at her shoulder

mine has a massive mold error as well.

I thought he said "big moldy mustache"

And Bazooka Joe needs corneas, unless he's going all "Book of Eli" on us.

Looks like they all have that. It was like she has a shawl on here left shoulder. I carve it with a sharp knife.

I don't know if I'm skilled enough to fix this one. It passes through the necklace and shoulder and I feel like I'd butcher her.

Guess its a widespread issue, I had to carve the shoulder as well and since she's such a skinny model it was a but nerve wracking. Removing some excess from the each unit is one thing hand carving is another... Granted that bit showed me how easy it would be to make custom units by "carving" existing ones. cool.gif

My second Revised Core Set had some of the worst molding lines period though, if it keeps costs down I don't care about it really..... unless the faces start getting messed up. serio.gif

I pick up a nice 1/48 tank crew kit from tamiya. To open the can was a little bit tricky.

Tamiya produces some great 1/48 inf models that fit well into DT. Their american inf pack gave me a lot of nice armor 1 soldiers to bulid and a comander for the pounder :D

Finished the Schwere Sturmgrenadiere Ausf. A and Lara

Awesome camo scheme, I'm stealing it ASAP!

I'm just not crazy about all those little dots...

I like the pea-dot scheme. I went traditional with mine.

The colors i used are not so far from reality, the waffen ss used a similar camouflage.

I like it but i dont use it again in the near future - much to exhausting bostezo.gif

I have seen that pattern before as well. Can you tell me what brand/colors you used for your paint scheme?

Thanks!!!

I use...

Vallejo Panzer Aces - Light Rubber
Vallejo Panzer Aces - Dark Rubber
Vallejo Game Color - Filthy Brown

But what you see at the pics is much darker, cause i use a thinned mix of quickshader (Armypainter Dark Tone) and turpentine followed by a matt varnish.

The weapons are painted with dark and light rubber too, but without the quickshader, so you can see the difference.

What are you using to mask out the camo I'm finding that my regular masking tape is not staying as well as I'd like.

Thanks for the colors. I believe I can find them all at one of my hobby stores here in NJ.

You cant mask such little things, especially not on an uneven surface. I use a brush. gui%C3%B1o.gif

By the way - i love that DT Armybuilder. Keep up the good work!

Dust Tactics - Axis - Untoter Strafgefangenentrupp 2 und 6

Moin Moin,

finished two Zombie squads yesterday. To apply the decals I used a decale setting solution from Micro-Sol. First you apply the decal with pure water, and after drying you can dip drops of Micro-Sol on the decale, let it dry again an the decal will fit perfect to all the uneven surfaces.

The blood is a mix of Tamiya Clear Red paint, glue, and a drop of black paint.

I hope you like it.

Happy painting...
