I have the Core set, which of course supports 4 players, but the group I game with usually has 5 or 6 people show up. If I get the Martell and Greyjoy expansions, would it break things if we dropped them in? There are 6 multi-player titles, so it seems like it would work. Any gotchas to be aware of?
5+ player games
It is playable with 6, although it takes some time, and the deluxe expansions are a good choice after the core set but the martell and greyjoy decks will be alot more consistant due to having some key cards 3x instead of one. They will give quite a few extra plot cards to make the core decks better and they have some cards for the other houses as well(in addition to neutral cards)

Just that those games will take a long time, especially with newbies playing, and will be very chaotic, which is not everybody's cup of tea. Those games can be a ton of fun, though, if you embrace the chaos.
Good to know that it works, thanks. It looks like with 3 copies it will be even easier to follow the suggestions in here (I'm guessing that it was written at a time when there was only one copy in the expansions?).
Six player games take forever, especially with newer players.
Outside that, theres nothing wrong with it.
Honestly, I've found that I don't really need to alter the Greyjoy and Martell packs. Just open up one of the packs and ensure their are the same number of cards in the deck as a Core Set and it seems to play just fine.
